Cold storage rooms and large refrigerated warehouses operate at temperatures of
–20°C to –30°C. The cold penetrates the entire structure, and even with high-quality thermal insulation, frost can reach the foundation and surrounding soil. This may cause frost heave, resulting in foundation damage. The same issue occurs in artificial ice arenas. The problem can be effectively solved by installing a heating cable system to protect the soil beneath refrigerated facilities.

System ControlCHTK cable heating systems are controlled using a specially designed dual-control configuration with two independent thermostats.
The primary control system maintains the ground temperature at +5°C and serves as the main operating system.
The secondary control system is set to +3°C and functions as a backup. It automatically switches on if the primary system fails.
Temperature sensors must always be installed inside a corrugated conduit to allow easy replacement if required.
