DescriptionThe SN2 heating section is designed for heating pipelines, tanks, vessels, and industrial equipment operating in potentially explosive gas atmospheres.
It belongs to Group II in accordance with GOST 31610.0-2014 and is intended for use in Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous locations, as defined by GOST IEC 60079-10-1-2011, for heating pipelines, tanks, vessels, and industrial equipment in potentially explosive gas environments.
The heating system is controlled by automatic temperature controllers that provide accurate temperature regulation. The heating cable is powered from a 220 V mains supply, with switching performed through the controller's contact system.
The system automatically maintains the preset temperature by periodically switching the heating cable on and off.
Explosion ProtectionThe SN2 heating sections provide explosion protection through the following design features:
- Protection of non-metallic components against electrostatic charge accumulation.
- Design compliant with the requirements of GOST IEC 60079-30-1-2011, GOST 31610.0-2014, and the protection type specified in GOST 31610.7-2012.
- Insulation of live electrical parts, as well as electrical clearances and creepage distances, designed in accordance with GOST 31610.7-2012.
Compliance with StandardsSN2 heating cables comply with the following regulations and standards:
- TR CU 012/2011 — Technical Regulation of the Customs Union "On the Safety of Equipment Intended for Use in Explosive Atmospheres".
- GOST 31610.0-2014 — Explosive Atmospheres. Part 0. Equipment. General Requirements.
- GOST 31610.7-2012 — Explosive Atmospheres. Part 7. Equipment Protection by Increased Safety "e".
- GOST IEC 60079-30-1-2011 — Explosive Atmospheres. Electrical Resistance Trace Heating. Part 30-1. General and Testing Requirements.
