CHTK infrared heating panels can be manufactured with a custom image or photograph of your choice. This allows you to create a functional designer interior feature that also serves as a heating panel.
The operating principle of an infrared heating panel is similar to the way the Sun warms the Earth: a uniform flow of infrared radiant energy heats objects and surfaces. These heated objects then warm the surrounding air and the entire room, unlike conventional convective heating, which first heats the air and only then transfers heat to surrounding objects.
Infrared heating panels warm a space faster and more efficiently than convective heating systems. With convective heating, warm air rises toward the ceiling, creating higher temperatures overhead while the occupied zone near the floor remains cooler. Infrared panels installed within the occupied area provide a higher temperature where people are actually present than near the ceiling. Since energy is not wasted on heating large volumes of air, this method of heating is more energy-efficient.
