SN-28 heating sections are manufactured in fixed lengths. They are based on a resistive twin-core heating cable with a constant linear power output of 28 W/m. The cable is resistant to the damaging effects of ultraviolet (UV) radiation.
Designed for heating systems for:- Outdoor surfaces, walkways, and ramps
- Roofs, gutters, and downpipes
Roof and Gutter De-Icing SystemDesigned for:
- Preventing water from freezing in gutters and downpipes
- Protecting roofs and building facades from damage caused by freezing water
- Improving safety for people walking near the building
Outdoor Surface Heating SystemThe Outdoor Surface Heating system provides efficient snow melting, ensures drainage of meltwater from heated surfaces, and helps prevent ice formation.
Applications include:- Private homes – walkways, driveways, and garage entrances
- Apartment buildings – courtyards, garage access roads, ramps, and pedestrian walkways
- Industrial facilities – vehicle access routes, loading and unloading areas
- Public areas – outdoor surfaces, entrance steps, access ramps, pedestrian streets, parking areas, stadiums, and similar locations
The Outdoor Surface Heating de-icing system provides invisible snow melting, as the heating cables are installed beneath the decorative surface finish. The heated surface itself becomes the heat source, distributing warmth evenly across the entire area.
The de-icing system operates (the heating cables are energized) under specific weather conditions:
- When meltwater forms on heated surfaces and there is a high risk of refreezing
- During snowfall
- Operation is not recommended at very low ambient temperatures (below −15°C), as this may lead to additional ice formation. Snowfall is generally unlikely at temperatures below −15°C.
