SNK-30 Heating Sections are manufactured using a twin-core resistive heating cable with FEP fluoropolymer insulation and a constant specific heat output of 30 W/m. The cable is resistant to UV radiation and is designed for outdoor surface heating systems, including walkways, driveways, and ramps.
System Benefits Reliability — FEP fluoropolymer insulation is used in demanding high-temperature and high-performance cable applications, ensuring long-term durability. Safety — Reduces the risk of slips and injuries during the winter season. Comfort — Keeps surfaces free from snow and ice. Versatility — Suitable for installation beneath all common surface materials, including concrete, asphalt, and paving stones. Invisible Installation — Installed beneath the surface without affecting the appearance of the surrounding landscape. Long Service Life — Maintenance-free and designed to last at least as long as the paved surface itself.
Operation When installed as part of an Outdoor Surface Heating system, the SNK-30 Heating Section eliminates the need to shovel snow, chip away ice, or use de-icing salt, helping to protect outdoor surfaces from premature deterioration. In addition to the heating section, the system requires a thermostat, a floor temperature sensor, and a protective conduit for the sensor to prevent mechanical damage.
